I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary on the Cinema Steve blogs for this "black-out day" in protest over the disgustingly ignorant and anti-Constitutional censorship bills making their way through Congress and the Senate, because I've been speaking out against both such things (and similar censorship efforts) AND online piracy for years. That, and I'd hate to be mistaken as a fellow traveler to at least one hypocrite I've seen who likes to post lovingly about the notion of the Fairness Doctrine, yet is "blacked out" today.
That said... I sincerely hope that ANYONE who is against these bills will vote against EVERY SINGLE senator and representative who voiced support for and/or put their names to these atrocities. You can as cute as you want with your blogs and website today, but it means nothing if you don't follow through the next time these assholes are put for re-election.

Remember these names and what they support. Otherwise any cute "protest" you're stating today will mean absolutely nothing. Vote against them next time you have the chance. Get rid of them if you value your rights as an American citizen.
For more info, or to write your representative, click here. (That said, I am of the opinion that anyone who would put their name to bills like this doesn't care what you or I think. And I'm already seeing evidence of it, such as Lamar Smith stating that he's removed some of the more objectionable provisions of his bill... but if you read closer, you see that it HASN'T really removed then; he's just taking them out for "further study." Trust me... once the heat is off, they're going back in, and he and his fellow censors and would-be oppressors will represent the bill exactly as they wanted it to be in the first place. The only solution here is to GET RID OF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.)

What part of 'all-American' don't they get?
I think the ninnies who are up in arms over this latest bit of gunk from the "reality show" sewage treatment plant are missing the point, which is expressed, up front, in the show's title "All-American Muslim."
According to Deadline Hollywood -- ‘All-American Muslim’ Loses Advertiser: The docu reality series has lost a major advertiser, Lowe’s, after a campaign by conservative watchdog the Florida Family Association. “The show profiles only Muslims that appear to be ordinary folks while excluding many Islamic believers whose agenda poses a clear and present danger to liberties and traditional values that the majority of Americans cherish," the group posted on its website.
Terrorist Jihadi assholes like Nidal Hassan, Samir Khan, Anwar al-Awlaki, Zachary Chesser, Jose Padilla, Adam "Goat Fucker" Gadahn, and Abu Mansoor Al-Amriki can hardly be described as "all-American." Fortunately, most on that list can be described as "dead" and others as "Bubba's Prison Bitch", but that doesn't change my point: Those assholes are only Americans because their passports say so. They devoted themselves to the destruction of all Americans, so they can hardly be described as "all-American."
Psychopathic Jihadists and those who fantasize about making sweet, sweet love to them are not the subject of "All-American Muslim", as the very title of the show makes clear.
Maybe instead of calling for boycotts and trying to stifle free expression the Florida Family Association could direct their energies toward making their own crappy reality show about the self-destructive deviants committed to Jihad?
Then again... real thought and real work would have to go into such a project. I doubt active members of the Florida Family Association spend much time doing either.
Not that I necessarily recommend this or any other reality show (although this is a "docu series" wink-wink), but "All-American Muslim" airs Sundays on TLC. Click here to visit the official site for previews and broadcast times.

Genius of the Jihadi summed up in a paragraph
Muslim terrorist threatens David Letterman: The terrorist called on Muslims in the United States to “cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever,” according to a translation by SITE. The popular late-night television host is not Jewish.
There's stupid, there's ignorant, and then there's the Jihad-ing Lions of Islam.
I hope to God that David Letterman doubles-down on this and doesn't scurry away or try to make apologies. Apologies don't work with these psychos. All you can do if you're in their sights is tell them to go fuck their brothers (like they're doing anyway, when not posting to "Jihad websites" or raping little girls while fantasizing about fucking their brothers).
Molly Norris learned there's no apologizing to these child-raping, repressed homosexuals. She tried, and they still erased her. Letterman has the wealth and resources to stand up to them and keep doing his thing. I hope he has the spine to go with it.
These child-raping freaks can't be allowed to intimidate anyone into silence. Every time they try, those of us who care about freedom of speech need to strike back with more speech and cartoons and comments that will "offend" and "hurt" them.
We should all stand with Kurt Westergard, Salman Rushie, Molly Norris, David Letterman, and all the other artists and writers these pigs and monkeys have bullied and even murdered over the years.
And on that note, this development warrants a ceremonial Mo-toon.

Gaza film-makers decry Hamas censorship
From Reuters....
Four years into Islamist Hamas rule, cultural censors are fraying the already threadbare local movie industry. Culture Ministry director Mustafa al-Sawaf is quick to crack down on content that does not conform to Hamas edicts."
It's hard to get outraged, because their friends and neighbors (and possibly even these filmmakers themselves) elected these Hamas freaks to be their oppressors.
And Jimmy Carter says Hamas are great guys, so that's that.
(Yes... there is much sarcasm above. Jimmy Carter remains a prick of the highest order. And my guess is that many of the poor Palestinians were motivated to cast ballots for Hamas by the same impulse that drove many Americans to vote for Obama--they wanted anyone but the people that were in charge at the time. At least we didn't end up with a pack of psychopaths holding the reins of government.)

Tennessee Thursday: Rep. Charles Curtiss
On July 1, a law takes effect in Tennessee that makes it illegal to post anything that anyone might feel "emotional distress" over. Today, I offer another profile of the Tennessee "lawmakers" who seem to think the 1st and/or 14th Amendments to the United States Constitution doesn't apply in that "great state."
But first... a little something that might soon be illegal in the state that claims to be "America at its best."
Postings That May Be Illegal in Tennessee #2
If that video upset you emotionally, morally, or constitutionally (in the stomach-turning sense), be sure to email Rep. Charles Curtiss. Curtiss is the main architect of a law so Unconstitutional one wonders if he slept through every single Civics class in grade school, or whether bricks were dropped on his head during his pre-political career.
Tennessee "Lawmaker" Profile #2: Rep. Charles Curtiss
Representative Charles Curtiss lives with his wife and daughter on land that has been in his family since the time of his great-grandfather. Don't mistake him for landed gentry, however, as he has proudly spent the early part of his working life as a brick mason. In the early 1980s, he decided to give up honest work and entered politics. He was elected to the Tennessee Legislature in 1994 and is presently in his seventh term. He is Chairman of the House Commerce Committee, Chairman of the Joint Fiscal Review Committee and Co-chair of the Select Committee on Veteran's Affairs. He also sits on the Joint Committee on Worker's Compensation and the Joint Corrections Oversight Committee.
While one hopes the Corrections Oversight Committee could do a little correcting in Tennessee state politics that is still something the citizens of that state must do at the ballot box. They must have som pretty sorry choices in elections if the quality of the ranking representatives is anything to go by.
By the way, Curtiss is a Democrat. Someone help me out here... which political party is supposedly trying to deny Americans their Constitutional rights?

Tenn. law bans posting images that "cause emotional distress"
Bill Haslam and the morons in the Tenn. state legislature cause me emotional distress. Who do I contact to file suit? After all, their pictures are all over this website!
Tenn. law bans posting images that "cause emotional distress"
Have these fucking idiots ever heard of a little thing called the United States Constitution? At the very least, they should read the 1st and 14th Amendments and be required to write 5,000 word papers about the history of each one before they are allowed to hold any government office ever again.
By the way, those Constitutional amendments let me post pictures like these:
The retards who supported this law shouldn't even be allowed to serve as dog catcher in a town of 22 citizens, let alone serving as legislators for an entire state. The citizens of Tenn. should be ashamed having such ignorant fucks at the head of their state.

Reports of Massive International Support for Lars Hedegaard
A while back, I passed along a plea for much-needed attention from the Danish Free Press Society to the fact that Danish courts, in the grip of rampant Islamophobia, are putting those who DARE speak truthful criticism about Islam and its followers on trial. Just for speaking those truths.
It seems Denmark is seeking closer ties with the government of Iran and other oppressive Muslim theocracies. Even the Canadians, with their outrageous so-called Human Rights Commission aren't this bad, as the tales about them standing up to demands from Iran to stop a movie screening shows.
But, speaking of Canada, it is from North of the Border that I have learned of massive international support for Lars Hedegaard, the latest victim of the Islamophobic Danish "justice system." (Not that I'm saying my post had anything to do with it, but I want to encourage my readers to add their voices of support for Hedegaard.)
Maybe the Danish authorities can be shamed into rejoining the civilized people who believe in freedom of speech and truthful news-reporting?

Freedom of expression dying in Denmark?(Another documented case of Islamophobia)
From the Danish Free Press Society:
Free speech is under attack in Denmark. Please help us preserve it.
Those who have been following the Danish cartoon crisis and several subsequent attempts by radical Muslims to kill and bomb Danes and Danish institutions may be excused for believing that Denmark is in the forefront of the battle for free speech. And indeed it used to be that way.
No longer. For the past year the Danish public prosecutor has been waging a lawfare offensive against outspoken critics of Islam and Muslim practices.
On December 3, 2010, Member of Parliament Jesper Langballe was convicted of “hate speech” – or as the judge in the lower court of Randers put it: “racial discrimination” – for having called attention to honour killings in Muslim families.
Next in line is Lars Hedegaard, President of the Danish Free Press Society and The International Free Press Society, who will stand trial in the lower court of Frederiksberg on January 24, 2011.
His crime has been to point to the great number of family rapes in areas dominated by Muslim culture. This well documented fact has brought him an indictment under the Danish penal code’s “racism” clause: Article 266b.
Both MP Langballe and Lars Hedegaard have long ago emphasised that they did not intend to accuse all Muslims or even the majority of Muslims of such crimes. This has made no impression on the public prosecutor.
We fear that the public prosecutor intends to stifle open debate on Islam and Muslim culture. And we fear that he is doing so with the tacit approval of the governing parties, which first signalled their intention to remove the racism clause from the penal code but have recently recanted.
If the authorities succeed in silencing such critics as Jesper Langballe and Lars Hedegaard, who will dare speak out?
We must put a stop to these attempts to undermine free speech if we wish to preserve Denmark as a free country. And where Denmark – that former beacon of free speech – goes, the rest of the West may follow
You can help us.
Please send a few words to katrinewinkelholm@gmail.com in defence of Lars Hedegaard’s freedom of expression. We will then publish them in The Free Press Magazine, Sappho.dk.
Please do what you can to spread the word about the trial of Lars Hedegaard.

Molly Norris becomes a non-person, thanks to Muslim terrorists and their good friends in US government and media

Molly Norris, a cartoonist who drew fairly harmless and inoffensive cartoons in a local weekly paper, had her life destroyed because of idol-worshiping psychopaths bent on honoring their false God--The Prophet Mohammed (may piss be upon him)--with the blood of innocents.
Molly Norris never drew The Prophet Mohammed (may piss be upon him), nor did she create "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day." Yet "Muslim holy men" have called for her head, the murderous idolaters who follow them are willing to follow their order, and the government of the United States of America is unwilling to do anything to protect one of their own citizens who has committed no crime whatsoever. In fact, the United States of America, through our state department, seems to be doing everything it can to validate the twisted and evil beliefs of Mohammadans around the globe. How else can you explain the apologetic stance taken over "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day" and the official "great job, guys!" that was sent to Pakistan when they blocked web access to their nation around May 20, 2010?
The sick freaks who claim to be Muslims, and who honor The Prophet Mohammed (may piss be upon him) above even Allah himself, have destroyed Molly Norris. They have silenced her, completely and utterly. They might as well have killed her. And all the magazine that used to print her cartoon has to say about it is "we wish her the best."
You can read what will probably be one of the very few acknowledgement of complete and utter capitulation by the American media to terrorists, as Seattle Weekly editor Mark D. Fefer offers good-byes and so-longs to one of their victims.
I'd be surprised if any other media outlet even has that much to say, because they are too busy making excuses and offering justifications for the terrorists. And because they believe that if they bow to the terrorists, they will make them go away... like Fefer, they suffer under the delusion that appeasement will do anything but spur the madmen on.
If I had enough cartoons, EVERY DAY would be "Draw Mohammed Day" from here on in. This can't be allowed to happen. It shouldn't be allowed to happen to anyone, especially someone who didn't even DRAW the syphilitic pedophile known as The Prophet Mohammed (may piss be upon him).

'Draw Muhammad' artist placed on hit list
Remember "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day"? The world-wide event intended to stand up to psychotic Muslims who want to murder over cartoons? Well, Molly Norris, the lady whose rather harmless joke set the event in motion--and who then disavowed it and has done everything humanly possible to apologize to Muslims for even JOKING about drawing their false idol--is now under a death threat from Muslim terrorists. Read about the latest from the Relgion of Peace:
Comic Riffs - 'Draw Muhammad' artist placed on execution hit list
If there's anything that this Molly Norris news proves, it's that there is NEVER any reason to apologize to these psychos. The best course of action--the ONLY course of action--is to double-down and tell them to go fuck themselves.
And on that note....

For more cartoons featuring Mohammed, visit the Everyone Draw Mohammed blog. (BTW, don't go to what used to be Molly Norris' website. It has been replaced with a page that will try to download a virus to your computer.)

Who is to be protected by this effort?
This seems like a wonderful and worthy project.
Paris hosts cyber-shelter for oppressed bloggers
But does anyone know what would prompt Julliard to say, "If the CIA [...] want to get round it they can, but this will make things much more difficult"? Is there something that those more Enlightened/Informed than I can tell me about? Links would be nice.

I wonder what bloggers need protection from the CIA. Will Jean-Francois Julliard and the other good people at Reporters Without Borders be turning their efforts over to the likes of Al-Qaeda, Hamas, and the ETA? Those are the only kind of subhuman wastes of skin and cyberspace I can see the CIA caring about. Certainly, the CIA couldn't care less about "citizen journalists" in China or Iran. I wish it wasn't so--I wish we were HELPING them--but we sure as hell aren't hunting them. Or have I missed something?
Or is Julliard's comments just another example of our French "friends" feeling more sympathetic toward those who are dedicated to murdering Americans where ever they can find them?
